Job Title: Director, Analytics & Outcomes

The Company:

A tech-driven leader in sports media and marketing, Cast Iron Media is weaving brands into the tapestry of live sports and entertainment. Leveraging our unrivaled access to premium in-game inventory through league, team, and rightsholder partnerships, we deploy our state-of-the-art live sports media-buying platform for Connected TV and skillfully orchestrate in-venue branding campaigns across all major sports.

The Role:

The Director, Analytics & Outcomes will be the market‑facing lead for all things analytics, measurement, and outcomes for Cast Iron’s client roster. This leader will partner closely with Sales, Revenue Operations, Client Success and key external stakeholders to define how Cast Iron proves performance, shapes its measurement and research partnerships, and translates data into clear, outcome‑oriented narratives for advertisers.

This person will attend client and agency meetings, represent Cast Iron’s POV on measurement and effectiveness in live sports and CTV, and ensure that our analytics capabilities evolve with the needs of modern marketers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales partnership and deal support:
  • Serve as the primary, external‑facing expert for analytics, measurement, and outcomes across Cast Iron’s clients and agency partners.
  • Partner with Sales to define measurement approaches and success KPIs in RFPs, proposals, and joint business plans.
  • Join Sales in key client and agency meetings to translate campaign performance into clear business outcomes and recommendations.

  • Measurement strategy, partners, and infrastructure:
  • Define Cast Iron’s overarching analytics and measurement strategy, with a focus on outcomes‑based storytelling for CTV and live sports.
  • Identify, evaluate, and help manage relationships with third‑party measurement, research, and outcomes partners (e.g., attribution, brand lift, sales lift, attention, footfall)
  • Partner with Product, Rev Ops, and Data/Tech to shape both the overarching Cast Iron data strategy and the analytics and reporting infrastructure that underpins client‑facing measurement.

  • Insights, reporting:
  • Oversee the development of dashboards, reports, and post‑campaign analyses that connect media delivery, audience, and on‑site behavior to client outcomes.
  • Establish and continuously refine measurement frameworks, KPIs, and benchmarks for Cast Iron campaigns (e.g., awareness, consideration, engagement, conversions)
  • Spearhead proactive industry and category research reports
  • Organize, conduct and publish case studies for client presentations and/or trade publications

  • Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of experience in media/marketing analytics, measurement, or marketing science, ideally within digital video/CTV, programmatic, or media owners.
  • Strong track record building and presenting client‑facing analytics stories that connect media to business outcomes.
  • Deep understanding of media measurement methodologies (e.g., brand lift, conversion/sales lift, MMM, incrementality testing, multi‑touch attribution) and their application to marketer goals.
  • Familiarity with CTV and digital video measurement, identity, and the evolving privacy landscape.
  • Experience working with or managing third‑party measurement and research partners (e.g., attribution, brand studies, audience and behavioral data providers).
  • Proficiency with analytics, BI, and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Looker, Tableau, or similar) and comfort working with large datasets.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with comfort presenting to senior‑level clients and internal executives.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Marketing, Data Science, or related field; advanced degree a plus.
  • Experience leveraging pre-sales research including video currency and audience measurement and syndicated research tools to analyze demographics, markets, categories, and sports leagues to articulate value positioning in RFPs, pitch decks, and go-to-market materials.

Why Join Us?

  • Opportunity to shape revenue operations in a high-growth media sales environment.
  • Collaborative and dynamic work culture.
  • Competitive salary and benefits package.
  • Career development opportunities in the evolving media industry.

This is a hybrid full-time position reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer; must be based in the New York Metropolitan area.

At Cast Iron Media, we strive to emphasize the importance of a team-oriented culture and a company we're proud to be a part of. We maintain and build a company of passionate, energetic, and optimistic teammates who can easily engage in an environment fostering connection, collaboration, and community. We value those who care about the success of their colleagues and the whole Cast Iron Media team.

Base compensation Range: $125,000-$140,000
