Job Description

Salary: $95,000 - 135,000 per year Requirements:

• A few years of postgraduate experience creating highly usable web experiences; candidates must be within commuting distance.
• Proven experience as a front-end developer building dynamic, scalable webpages.
• Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and SCSS.
• Deep understanding of the full web development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Comfort using AI-powered development tools such as GitHub Copilot or ChatGPT to write, review, and refine code.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate, pixel-perfect, reusable code.
• Familiarity with Git version control workflows.
• Knowledge of responsive, mobile-first, and accessibility development principles.
• Applicants must be in the Baltimore/DC region; long-term remote arrangements are not available.

• Build engaging, mobile-first webpages for students.
• Work with AI coding tools to accelerate development, generate code suggestions, and improve frontend performance.
• Assess the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and implement them practically.
• Optimize webpages for speed, scalability, and maintainability.
• Troubleshoot, build, and maintain reusable, modular code libraries for future projects.
• Conduct thorough quality assurance testing to ensure accuracy, usability, and visual fidelity across devices and browsers.
• Help develop a dynamic, intuitive student engagement hub that drives interaction, enrollment, and retention through a seamless user experience.
